How do X-rays and the like help with exams?
If bone fractures or abdominal diseases are suspected, imaging techniques such as digital X-rays and ultrasound can be performed in our modern practices. Anesthesia is usually not necessary, but mild sedation can help with fearful animals. Short anesthesia may be required for head and tooth X-rays or endoscopies. After sedation or anesthesia, your pet can recover with us and go home the same day. All procedures, alternatives and costs will be discussed with you in advance.
