Quick and reliable diagnostics using the latest technology.
Which imaging methods does filu offer?
An important component at filu is the use of new technologies and digitization methods. Our modern veterinary practices are therefore equipped with the highest level of medical technology.
For imaging tests, we have the following
Digital X-ray system
At filu, we use an advanced digital X-ray system to provide our patients with fast and accurate diagnostics. This system allows us to generate high-resolution images, which are essential for accurate diagnosis of bone fractures, internal injuries, and various conditions.
High resolution dental x-ray
In our practices at filu, we use a high-resolution dental X-ray device to take detailed images of the teeth and jawbone of our animal patients. This technology is crucial for diagnosing and treating dental and jaw diseases and enables more precise treatment planning.
Modern ultrasound device (option for heart ultrasound)
At filu, we have a modern ultrasound device that can also be used for echocardiography (heart ultrasound). This device allows us to create detailed images of the heart and other internal organs, which is essential for diagnosing and monitoring heart disease and other internal conditions.
Modern endoscope
Our team at filu uses a modern endoscope to perform non-invasive examinations of the digestive tract and other internal areas. This technology allows us to make accurate diagnoses and sometimes even perform minimally invasive treatments without the need for open surgery.
Blood analysis equipment (for rapid blood sample detection)
At filu, we use cutting-edge blood analysis equipment to obtain fast and accurate results from blood samples. These devices are crucial for quickly diagnosing various conditions, such as infections, anemia or organ dysfunction. They enable us to obtain important information about your pet's health within a short period of time, which is essential for effective and timely treatment.
Microscope
In our practices at filu, we use advanced microscopy to carry out detailed investigations at the cellular level. This tool is essential for accurately diagnosing a wide range of conditions, including skin conditions, infections, and blood count disorders. With the microscope, we can detect the smallest changes that are not visible to the naked eye, which enables precise diagnosis and targeted treatments.
How do X-rays and the like help with exams?
If bone fractures or abdominal diseases are suspected, imaging techniques such as digital X-rays and ultrasound can be performed in our modern practices. Anesthesia is usually not necessary, but mild sedation can help with fearful animals. Short anesthesia may be required for head and tooth X-rays or endoscopies. After sedation or anesthesia, your pet can recover with us and go home the same day. All procedures, alternatives and costs will be discussed with you in advance. We're here to answer your questions and take care of you and your pet.
